Problems you recognise Floor space

The tea never arrives

Room service is the hospitality moment people remember. Most offices still run it on a chat thread and a shout down the corridor.

Workplace service management cover showing catering and room-service requests handled from one queue

Why this happens

Requests live in chat, not a queue

Tea request in chat — no queue, no owner.

Service requests on the booking, visible to staff.

How the Service queue works

The panel finishes in silence

Panel ticket with no name — requester never told.

Fast panel tap; reply in app notifies requester.

Who pays for this today

The same problem costs each group something different — and they rarely compare notes.

Common questions

No. Ticketing is for something broken that should stay tracked until it is closed. Service is tea, cleaning, setup and help attached to a booking — delivered, then done.

Usually yes. The panel is the team's shared screen: open requests by floor, with a timer. The app is where you see attachments, write back, and notify the person who asked.

Staff are notified when a request appears. The person who asked is notified only when a staff member writes back from the app — not when someone taps Finished on the panel.
